Labour Services For Installation & Dismantling


Move-in and move-out are busy times on the show floor...
GES can help with that!

Trust our labour team to install & dismantle your exhibit in a professional and timely manner. Our crew of responsible & hard-working labourers are available to assist with tasks such as booth construction, organizing your space, and packing up at the end of the show. Arranging labour services for your booth is simple!


Service Schedule

GES Labour is available during install & dismantle of the show and is classified in to three categories -  straight time, overtime and double-time. These are defined as:

  • Straight Time: Weekdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Overtime: Weekdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Weekends from 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Double-Time: Weekdays after 6:00pm. Weekends after 4:00pm. All Holidays.

Helpful Hints

  • Submit set-up drawings or booth layout photos to serviceinfo@ges.com.
  • Upon arrival at the venue, check-in at the GES Service Centre to meet your team & begin the labour call.
  • We understand that your calculation is only an estimate. Invoicing will be based on actual time & labour incurred. Adjustments will be made accordingly.

Terms & Conditions
  • Pricing is listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
  • 100% Refund Guarantee: Customer may cancel any orders for GES products and services made under GES Standard Terms and Conditions for any reason, provided written notice of cancellation is received by GES no less than seven (7) days prior to the first day of Move-In. If Customer has made any payment to GES for the orders, GES will refund 100% of such payment less the portion of such payment for services already performed by GES such as, but not limited to, custom cut carpet, special furniture, material handling, rigging, labor, electrical services or graphics.
  • Exhibitor must check-in at the GES Service Centre to meet their team & begin the labour call.
  • Labour rates are charged per worker at a minimum of one (1) hour. Labour over one (1) hour is charged in 1/2 hour (30 minute) increments.
  • Forklift rates are charged per driver/forklift at a minimum of one (1) hour at move-in and one (1) hour at move-out (regular time) or two (2) hours at move-in and two (2) hours at move-out (double and overtime). Labour and forklift over minimum charge is charged in 1/2 hour (30 minute) increments.
  • Uncancelled labour will be charged a minimum fee of one (1) hour per worker.
  • GES reserves the right to change labourers and/or rates as shifts change.
  • A 30% surcharge will be applied to orders placed on-site.
  • Gratuities in any form, including but not limited to, cash, gifts or payment for work not actually performed, are prohibited by GES.
  • All claims or discrepancies must be settled within one week of show closing.
  • No refunds/exchanges once show move-in begins.
